Dr. Amy Hulme is Assistant Professor of Biomedical Science at Missouri State University. At her lab, she researches how retroviruses and mobile genetic elements use host cells to replicate. This important work looks at the early steps of HIV-1 replication, including reverse transcription, uncoating, and nuclear import.
