Missouri Cures Education Foundation invites you to discover how the remarkable work of renowned scientist Dr. Jeanne Loring is transforming ideas into realities, through her ground-breaking research to enhance therapies related to human disease, genomics, single-cell sequencing, gene editing, improved drug development, and the preservation of endangered species.
Dr. Loring is the Director of the Center of Regenerative Medicine at the Scripps Institute. Her lab is developing IPS stem cell based therapies for Parkinson’s disease and multiple sclerosis and investigating the underlying cause of autism. She is also instrumental in the Frozen Zoo Project, to save the endangered white rhino.
