The conference highlighted women on 2 panels, Women in Science and Research: The Opportunities & Challenges in the Field; and Innovation and Entrepreneurship: Kansas City Women Leading the Way.

Please join us on Tuesday, October 8th at Alpha Brewing as we kick off our Brews & Breakthroughs speakers series. We will meet at local breweries each quarter and hear about cutting edge research taking place in Missouri. Our inaugural event will feature, Kareem Azab PhD, Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology / Biomedical Engineering at Washington University’s School of Medicine for his presentation Kill Me, Eat Me, Just Treat Me … the Sigh of a Cancer Cell. Kareem is also the Founder of Cellatrix and Targeted Therapeutics. Program begins promptly at 7pm.
